Last week, molybdenum price in China maintained weak adjustment on the whole. Market confidence was hard to be improved due to the weakness in demand. Therefore, market participants were reluctant to trade.

In the molybdenum concentrate market, the availability of spot goods was tight, businesses with little pressure of selling tended to hold product prices. A new round of steel biddings was going in the ferro molybdenum market, but given the pessimistic quantity of biddings, downstream purchasers maintained low enthusiasm in stocking up and market trading became less active.
