Guide Prices for Earlier April Declined in China’s Tungsten Market

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online: Ganzhou Tungsten released the guide prices for April yesterday: 65% wolframite concentrate was quoted at $17,581/t, down $645/t compared with last month; APT was quoted at $308/mtu, down $9/mtu month-on-month; medium particle tungsten powder was quoted at $44/kg, down $0.8/kg.

Zhangyuan Tungsten also released the guide prices for the first half of April: wolframite concentrate price was $17,580/t, down $323/t year-on-year; scheelite concentrate price was $17,339/t, down $323/t; APT price was $308/mtu, down 3.6/mtu year-on-year. 

The lower of guide prices basically meets market expectations. At present, market participants in the tungsten market mainly come with negative mentality and mainstream tungsten price will continue be in the downward trend.
