Ecuador Copper Ridge Porphyry Shows excellent Copper and Molybdenum Results

Titan Minerals continues to show excellent copper (Cu) and coincident molybdenum (Mo) results from access sampling at its Linderos project in southern Ecuador. This work highlights a typical zonation anomaly, about 750 m in diameter, with a central core of Cu, Mo, and tungsten and a peripheral halo of selenium, tellurium, and bismuth.

The notable sampling in Ecuador results included 46 meters grading 0.24% copper and 9.71 ppm molybdenum (CRC040), 32 meters grading 0.21% Cu and 3.91 ppm Mo (CRC051), and 26 meters grading 0.22% Cu and 9.76 ppm Mo (CRC037). At the nearby Meseta gold property, Titan's channel and rock chip sampling returned high-grade results in a high sulphidation epithermal gold system.

While current exploration is still in the early stages, the encouraging results received to date at Linderos combined with a robust geological data set highlight several significant golds and copper-molybdenum targets.

The company notes that the high-grade gold values at Meseta are associated with massive sulphide polymetallic veins, while the extensive low-grade gold halos identified in most of the drilling and channel sampling conducted to date are associated with free gold occurring in strongly altered wall rocks that host extensive quartz veins of varying intensity.

Titan added that the interpreted metal deposits at the interface where the Meseta gold and Copper Ridge porphyry targets overlap have the potential to have a significant economic impact on the development of a larger mineralized system. These define the potential for high-grade Cu-Mo mineralization below the surface in the Copper Ridge and Meseta Gold areas.

The Linderos project is located 20km southwest of the Company’s flagship Dynasty Gold Project where drilling for resource estimation update is underway and is comprised of four contiguous concessions totaling over 143km2 located in southern Ecuador’s Loja Province. Titan Minerals is an exploration and development company focused on exploring and developing potential Tier One projects in Ecuador’s southern Andean copper-gold belt.
