Chinese Rare Earth Prices - Aug. 16, 2019

Chinese rare earth prices were in the downward trend in the week began on Monday August 12, 2019. Recently, due to weak demand in the off-season and the lack of substantial news release in the market, downstream buyers did not have the plan of replenishment and market transactions were hardly concluded. Under the pressure of thin trading and capital shortage, some mining enterprises started to reduce prices for more sales. But the decline was still supported by the cost side. 

Longnan Longyi released the report for the first half of 2019. The announcement showed that the company achieved operating income of RMB 68,451,664.85 in the first half of the year, an increase of 35.49% over the previous period; net profit of RMB 2,114,450.44, an increase of 133.59% over the previous period.
