Chinese Molybdenum Prices - June 28, 2019

Chinese molybdenum prices were unchanged in the week ended on Friday June 28, 2019 on deadlocked supply and demand in the whole market. Molybdenum concentrate market stabilized with firm offer levels in the major production areas.

In the ferro molybdenum market, steel tenders failed to meet market expectations and factories worried poor demand of terminal market would make them face risk of price inversion, so prices showed signs of decline. Molybdenum chemical and product market was under pressure. Some product prices declined slightly, but with the support of raw material market, manufacturers took a watchful stance.
