Chinese Rare Earth prices - Dec. 14, 2018

Chinese rare earth prices continued the stability in the week to Friday December 14. The sentiment of buyers and sellers is different and manufacturers also face different pressure from funds face with different offer levels. 

On the one hand, Chinese environmental protection and mines in Myanmar banned importing into domestic tighten the supply, plus with higher listing prices of praseodymium and neodymium related products in Northern Rare Earth, market confidence is boosted; on the other hand, the weakness in the demand side is not improved, dealers remain low trading activity and transactions are mainly on low-price products. Most market participants are waiting for the next move in the market.
