Preparation of Silver Tungsten or Tungsten Copper Alloy Composites

1) Selecting 10 ~ 500um diameter tungsten material, pickling, cleaning;

The rod-like material after the binder is placed in a vertical vacuum sintering furnace melt infiltration; copper or silver bullion ingot placed on top of the rod after the tying material, the infiltration temperature is above the melting point of copper or silver, the temperature holding time of 0.25 to 2 hours;

5) With the furnace cooling to room temperature, it is made of tungsten or tungsten silver-copper alloy composite cathode rod after removed;

6) Machining the above-mentioned composite cathode bar, that is the composite material obtained in the desired element.

Obtained by this method tungsten or tungsten silver-copper alloy composite material with high density and electrical conductivity, and oxygen content, nitrogen content and inclusions are very low, especially for the cathode as in the field of high-voltage electrical appliances, etc. materials.
