Tungsten Alloy PCB Bit

The through hole is one of the important components of PCB. Its function is to fix or locate the electrical connection channels and devices between layers. Mechanical drilling with PCB micro-drill is the most commonly used processing method.

Tungsten and its cemented carbides are widely used in high pressure, high speed, high temperature, corrosive medium and other working environments because of their high melting point, high strength, good conductivity and thermal conductivity, strong corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties at high temperature. They are also used in PCB bits.

The preparation process of tungsten alloy PCB bit is as follows:

1.Choose 1kg agitating ball mill, first add B powder, C powder and CO powder, add pentanol as grinding medium according to the ratio of 500ml/kg, add grinding ball according to the ratio of 5:1, agitate grinding, grinding ball diameter D7, ball mill stirring speed 480rpm, filling coefficient 0.85, grinding for 1 hour.

2.Then add tungsten carbide to grind for 5 hours to form slurry and slurry. Filtration and drying. The number of filters is 40 meshes. The drying temperature is 70 ℃. Cemented carbide mixtures are made.

3.Cemented carbide blanks are made by pressing or extrusion or injection moulding cemented carbide mixture particles.

4.Tungsten alloy matrix was obtained by sintering cemented carbide blank into sintering furnace. The sintering temperature, Ar pressure and sintering time were 1400 ℃, 8 Mpa and 30 min respectively.

5. Continuous optical fiber laser is used to set the cladding process, synchronous powder feeding is used to multi-channel cladding of metal powder, cooling to room temperature, a layer of alloy coating is prepared on the substrate, and the alloy coating is remelted by laser surface and cooled to room temperature to obtain tungsten-nickel alloy material.

The tungsten alloy PCB bit prepared by the above method can significantly improve and control the structure of the material, so that the strength and hardness of the prepared tungsten alloy material can match perfectly and the comprehensive performance is excellent.
