Green and Energy-saving Separation of Tungsten-Tin Ore

There has always been a low (poor) grade tungsten-tin associated ore in the tungsten-tin production industry, which is particularly common in Yunnan. Because the material and chemical properties of the two metal compounds are similar, the separation of the two metals in the industrial production process has always been a difficult problem that puzzles the industrial production technology. The traditional production method has been characterized by high pollution and high energy consumption, which makes it difficult to conform to the national industrial policy.

A low-grade tungsten-tin ore in Yunnan Province is used to produce ammonium paratungstate in an environmentally friendly way, which includes the following steps: grinding, slurry flotation desulfurization, continuous flotation to obtain tungsten-tin mixed concentrate, gravity beneficiation, respectively, to produce tungsten concentrate and tin concentrate, tungsten concentrate (scheelite) to produce paratungstic acid by acid leaching process, ammonia dissolution and crystallization process. Ammonium products; Waste gas and wastewater in the process are cleaned.

1.Mineral raw materials pass through wet ball mill abrasive to fine (-150 mesh), after mixing barrel pulping, through slurry pump into flotation tank, adding desulfurizer to desulfurize, adding desulfurizer can choose commonly used desulfurizer, such as iron oxide desulfurizer, and do not need to add acid and alkali, under neutral conditions, get sulfur concentrate. After dehydration, the sulphur concentrate is produced and sold to sulphuric acid enterprises.

2.After the remaining desulfurized ore is separated by belt filter, it is subjected to secondary wet ball milling to fineness (-200 mesh) and then to pulping in stirring barrel. After the slurry pump, it is fed into flotation machine and flotation agent is added to the tungsten-tin mixed ore. The flotation agent is MB series flotation agent, and the tailings are stirred with a small amount of lime. The mixing water is treated, and the solid-liquid separation is realized after filtering by belt filter, and the tail water is returned to the pulping process for recycling.

3.After application of gravity of 1G, Scheelite Concentrate (containing WO3:40-55%, Sn:2-3%) and tin concentrate (containing Sn:40-45%, WO3:0.5-1.5%) are prepared respectively, and tin concentrate is sold as products. Scheelite concentrate is added to acid leaching kettle, concentrated hydrochloric acid is added to acid leaching at 90 ℃ at room temperature, acid leaching for 2 hours, and solidified by pressure filter. After liquid separation, tungsten-containing solid material is obtained and merged with the primary calcium chloride products which were produced before; tungsten-containing solid material is added to ammonia solution tank, then ammonia water is added to ammonia solution to produce crude ammonium tungstate solution, and then the temperature begins to rise. When the temperature rises to 45 C (the general temperature of impurity removal process is controlled at 45-55 ℃, the solution itself is ammonia solution exothermic process, it can reduce production costs.

In this scheme, the waste water, waste residue and waste gas produced in the production process are utilized by technological means of environmental protection, and other qualified by-products are produced, which not only realizes the green and environmental protection production of the industry, but also maximizes the profits of the industry.
