Tungsten Carbide Cross-hole Countersink Cutter

Tungsten carbide cross-hole countersink cutter is a zero flute cone-shaped tool made of tungsten carbide with a hollow hole goes through the cutting edge from the side of the cone. The cutting edge is comprised of the intersection of the hole and the cone-shaped part. Specially, the cone is not strictly symmetrical.

Tungsten carbide cross hole countersink cutter is also referred to deburring tool. During the machining operation, it could bite into the work piece while the tool rotates providing clearance for its cutting edge. The rotation of the tool could remove the burr from the material due to cosmetic and safety consideration. In addition , the tool could be also applied in softer material to prepare a countersunk hole for a screw.
