Tungsten Trioxide Film Applied for All-solid-state Electrochromic Window

Tungsten trioxide film for producing an all-solid-state electrochromic window can be prepared by a sol-gel method in electrochemical and wet chemical methods. Certainly, there are many other preparation methods for electrochromic materials. These preparation methods commonly used at home and abroad include vacuum evaporation method, sputtering method, chemical vapor deposition method, ion plating technology, and electrochemical deposition method. The following is something about the sol-gel method.

Experts introduced that the sol-gel method is to deposit a gel containing tungsten on the surface of the substrate by dipping, spin coating or spraying, and heat-treating to obtain the WO3 film. The colloid can be obtained by dissolving tungsten powder in hydrogen peroxide, acidification of tungstate, hydrolysis (alcoholization) of an organometallic compound, ion exchange, and the like. The pores of the film prepared by the sol-gel method are relatively large, and the water content is large, and the electrochromic performance is greatly improved.
