China Rare Earth Price - July 9, 2020

China rare earth price remains stable but shows signs of rise on July 9, 2020, but downstream buyers are not active in inquiry and thus market trading fails to meet market expectations. 

In the light rare earth market, the prices of mainstream products still remain relatively high. Under the circumstances that the supply of spot products is slightly tight and the government is actively promoting the development of the new energy industry, the holders of the market are more conscious of sales, waiting for higher prices. In the medium and heavy rare earth market, there are no significant fluctuations in the prices of most products for the time being. Other favorable factors such as low international imports, limited release of domestic smelting enterprises' production capacity, and the expectation of purchasing and storage are all factors that support the rise in market prices, but many magnetic materials companies still maintain rigid demand.
