China Molybdenum Oxide Prices - Jun. 5, 2020

Molybdenum market quotation in China: molybdenum oxide, ferro molybdenum and molybdenum oxide prices decline slightly when market transactions are low and the market outlook remains unclear. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, the prices of raw materials have been lowered slightly. Under the circumstance of low consumption enthusiasm for downstream users and the continuous inflow of low-cost overseas resources, the market confidence is slightly insufficient, but supported by costs, mainstream molybdenum companies still keep firm offers; In the ferromolybdenum market, the trading atmosphere in low, and the bidding volume and prices of steel mills were not satisfactory, which caused a big impact on the confidence of ferromolybdenum merchants. The product price was below 105,000 yuan/ton; the molybdenum chemical industry and its products market shows no significant changes in the market for the time being. Due to the poor trading sentiment in the upstream market, traders have low optimism and the transactions remain rigid demand.
