China Ferro Molybdenum Prices - Oct. 9, 2019

Molybdenum market quotation in China: the ferro molybdenum and molybdenum concentrate prices declined slightly while molybdenum bar price remained stable. The decline is affected by the sharp drop of international molybdenum prices and wait-and-see atmosphere in the domestic market. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, the fundamentals show a weak pattern of supply and demand. Returning from the holiday, many enterprises have not returned to normal working conditions. The shortage of raw materials still exists, and the demand of downstream users has not recovered significantly. In the ferromolybdenum market, the overall performance is relatively calm, the enthusiasm of steel mills entering the bidding needs to be improved, suppliers are difficult to quote; molybdenum chemical and its products market stabilizes temporarily. There is no obvious change in prices, and businesses are mostly just waiting and seeing.
