China Tungsten Prices Declined Despite of Raw Material Capacity Cuts

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

Opening this week, China tungsten prices were unchanged from last week affected by declined new guide prices from large tungsten companies and deadlocked supply and demand in the market. Now the product prices come close to the cost level and the demand side still remains weak. Most traders have not high enthusiasm in trading, seeking for low-price resources. Given that, insiders may continue to take a watchful stance this week. 

In addition, the recent heavy rains have caused certain impacts on the production activities of some tungsten mines in the main producing area in Jiangxi, China, coupled with the joint production reduction of many representative smelting enterprises, raw material capacity cuts will ease the relationship between supply and demand of the spot market. The industry confidence needs to be boosted.
