China Cerium Oxide Price - Apr. 18, 2019

Rare earth market quotation in China: the latest prices of cerium oxide, europium oxide and neodymium oxide are unchanged from the previous trading day on Thursday April 18. 

According to the news, in the first quarter of 2019, the growth rate of the rare earth permanent magnet industry slowed down slightly year-on-year, and the catalyst output dropped sharply year-on-year. The downstream demand of the rare earth industry began to shrink. The supply of light rare earth products remained slightly higher and the supply of heavy rare earth products were significantly lower. According to industry analysts, the supply surplus has widened, and the downward trend is expected to keep continuing. The upward trend of dysprosium and terbium products is supported by large trading volumes and with the influence of re-ban Myanmar rare earth imports, price may continue to rise.
