Representatives of the 31st Annual Conference of International Tungsten Industry Association(ITIA) Visited Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group(ZCCG)

On September 28th, Dominica Sidon, vice president of ITIA, led some delegates to the 31st annual conference of ITIA to visit Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group. General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the party from China Tungsten and Hightech Materials Corporation, General Manager Kangde Xie and Executive Deputy General Manager Shanwen Mao from Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group, Executive Director and Deputy General Manager Qiming Hu and Deputy General Manager Tao Xu from ITIA, and other officials attended the meeting.

Kangde Xie extended warm and sincere welcome for the arrival of the delegates of the 31st annual conference, introduces the development of Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group(ZCCG), and expressed his thanks to ITIA and the other members for their supports to ZCCG for a long time, and expressed ZCCG’s willing to expand the breadth and depth of communication and cooperation through the platform of ITIA, and hope to promote the sustainable and healthy development of tungsten industry.

Dominica Sidon, vice president of ITIA, said he was deeply impressed by the visit, and strongly resonated with their core idea of "absolute sincerity can create values", and wished the future of ZCCG more brilliant.

The visiting representatives had deep exchanges and talks with ZCCG on further strengthening cooperation and common development.

Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Co. LTD is located in Zhuzhou City of Hunan Province, which is located in the core area of "Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Group " and the transportation center of south China. The factory was built in 1954, which was one of the 156 key projects built during the "the first five-year plan" period of China. It is honored as "the cradle of China's cemented carbide industry". In December 2009, it became a subsidiary of China Minmetals Corporation, one of the world's top 500 companies. It is a large domestic base for the production, scientific research, operation and export of cemented carbides, and was identified as one of the "ten landmark projects" in Hunan Province.

International Tungsten Industry Association, the ITIA, was formally registered in 1988 in Belgium, a business association not for profit, and mainly engaged in scientific research. The main goal of ITIA is to promote the use of tungsten and tungsten products, to coordinate the work of the association's committee on health, safety and environment, to hold regular global conferences on the tungsten industry, and to exchange industry information with other metal associations.
