First Quantum Minerals has expanded its copper reserve base following results of an updated NI 43-101 technical report for its Taca Taca project. Taca Taca is a copper, gold, and molybdenum project situated in the Puna (Altiplano) region of Salta province, Argentina.

According to the announcement by the Department of Natural Resources of Jiangxi Province, as of August 31, 2020, the evaluation base date, the estimated value of the proceeds from the transfer of the mining right of the Chongyi Changlong Guanzaixian Tungsten Mine was 2.0898 million yuan (higher than the 2.0603 million yuan calculated from the market benchmark price), and the recoverable WO₃ is 517.46 tons by estimate.
