Tungsten alloy is 10 times harder than 18K gold, 5 times harder than stainless steel and 4 times harder than titanium. The hardness of tungsten alloy is  8-9M (Mohs hardness scale), and diamond hardness is 10M. Tungsten gold-plated alloy jewelry almost has no wear. You can try to scratch in its surface by blade or some other hard objects, there will not scratches, otherwise, it is fake gold-plated tungsten alloy product.

 

Appearance: now good tungsten gold-plated alloy products have the incomparable luster, refraction and texture. If the surface gloss is very poor, even dim and dark,  it is fake.
