Wolframite Slime Recycle - High Intensity Magnetic Flotation Method

Tungsten concentrate is fragile mineral, it can easily form into slime during beneficiation process. So there is useful tungsten element in tungsten tailings. 

According to statistics data, tungsten content in wolframite slime accounts for 11%~14%, some of their grades are higher original ore. Even so, wolframite slime is difficult in beneficiation due to its fine grains. So flotation method is an applicable way.

High intensity magnetic flotation method uses wet intensity magnetic machine, it can recycle tungsten concentrate grain over 10um. It is more elaborate than tabling method, gathering degree is better, it layers good foundation for the subsequent flotation process.

After one round of intensify magnetic flotation, wolframite slime completes gathering and can start flotation. Flotation is similar to tungsten scheelite, but different in collecting agent. Data shows that oleic acid, sodium oleic acid or 731 oxidized paraffin wax soap are not efficient to tungsten concentrate grain, instead, hydroxyl oxime acid polymeric chelant has efficient collecting ability.
