Tungsten carbide saw blade has many types of specifications, and some common ones will be introduced in the following.
Generally speaking, left and right teeth should be applied in the sawing of chipboard and particleboard of medium density, while horizontal ladder tooth is normally adopted in the sawing of laminated board and fire-proof plate. The external diameter of tungsten carbide saw blade is often with Ф300-350mm according to different types of circular sawing machines and the saw blade thickness is connected with diameters (Ф250-300mm with a thickness of 3.2mm and over Ф350mm with a thickness of 3.5mm). Computer-controlled material handling machine usually adopts tungsten carbide saw blades with larger diameter and thickness (350-450mm of diameter and 4.0-4.8mm of thickness) due to its high power of sawing, and normally applies horizontal ladder tooth to reduce chipping and saw notch. As for maintaining a smooth grooving in the slot base, flat teeth or composite tooth form of left and right teeth should be adopted.
