W18O49/PDMS Coated Insulating Glass

Some studies have shown that if W18O49/PDMS coated insulating glass is used as the window of the cassette, the internal temperature of the cassette will rise from 23°C to 32.2°C ( the temperature difference is 9.2°C), after the cassette is irradiated with xenon lamp (0.5W/cm2) for 1500 seconds. Compared with ITO-coated glass and ordinary glass, the temperature rise of W18O49/PDMS coated insulating glass as the window of the cassette is relatively low. And this means that W18O49/PDMS coated insulating glass has better thermal insulating performance than ITO-coated glass and ordinary glass.

W18O49/PDMS coated insulating glass not only has fine visible light transmission, but has good near-infrared shielding ability. It has good thermal insulating performance as well. Therefore, it can be popularized in the future. And its application will be of great importance to energy saving and environmental protection.
