Tungsten Disulfide Used in Lubrication of Cylindrical Roller Bearing

Tungsten disulfide with good lubricating performance is suitable for the working environment of high temperature and heavy load. Cylindrical roller bearing, as the name implies, refers to the centripetal rolling bearing whose roller is a cylinder. Rollers in bearing are parallel to each other. They are equipped with isolation blocks, which can prevent the inclination of rollers or the friction between rollers, and successfully prevent the increase of rotation torque. 1. Metal peeling off on raceway surface

When the number of stress cycles reaches a certain value, peeling off occurs on the roller and raceway surface of the inner and outer rings. This kind of peeling off will reduce the running accuracy of the shaft and cause vibration and noise of the whole mechanism.

2. Burning of bearing

The burning of bearing is usually caused by insufficient or poor lubrication. Maybe the lubricating material does not meet the requirements, or deteriorates.

3. Broken cage

The causes of breaking include insufficient lubrication, broken rolling element and askew seat ring, etc.

4. The rolling element with the metal of the cage

When the bearing roller is stuck in the holder or there is no sufficient lubrication of the bearing, the rolling element may be adhered to the metal of the cage.

5. Seriously-worn raceway of the seat ring

This may be caused by foreign matter falling into the seat ring, insufficient lubrication or improper lubricating material.

Obviously, insufficient lubrication or improper lubricating material is the main cause of the damage of cylindrical roller bearing. In order to overcome the problems, we can use tungsten disulfide for the lubrication of cylindrical roller bearing. This kind of material not only has good lubricating performance, but is suitable for the working environment of high temperature and heavy load. Just a certain amount of tungsten disulfide can provide good lubrication.
