Two-dimensional Tungsten Oxide - Tin Niobate Nanosheet Composite Semiconductor Materials

Recently, two-dimensional tungsten oxide-tin niobate nanosheet composite semiconductor materials have been prepared by two-step hydrothermal method. The reaction process is simple and the photocatalytic activity of the products is good. The main steps are as follows:

(1)Preparation of tungsten oxide nanosheet semiconductor material (WO3): weigh sodium tungstate dihydrate and citric acid hydrate, add deionized water to stir to dissolve completely, then add hydrochloric acid solution to adjust the pH value of the above solution to 1 drop by drop, continue stirring until light yellow suspension is obtained, then transfer the obtained suspension to the reactor, put it in the oven for hydrothermal reaction; After cooling to room temperature, the light yellow precursor is centrifuged, washed with water and alcohol several times, dried, removed, grinded with a mortar to powder, transferred to a semi-enclosed crucible, and then transferred to a programmed heating tube furnace for scorching. After natural cooling to room temperature, the reserve is taken out and WO3 samples are obtained.

(2)Preparation of tin niobate nanosheet semiconductor material (SNO): Take niobium pentoxide and potassium hydroxide, stir with deionized water until it is completely dissolved, then transfer the obtained suspension to the reactor, put it in the oven for the first hydrothermal reaction, and collect supernatant after natural cooling to room temperature. Then add dilute hydrochloric acid solution drop by drop to adjust the pH value of the collected clear liquid to 7, then add stannous chloride dihydrate, continue to mix and add dilute hydrochloric acid solution drop by drop to adjust the pH value of the above suspension to 2, then immediately transfer the obtained suspension to the reactor, put it in the oven for the second hydrothermal reaction; after natural cooling to room temperature, centrifuge out the yellow solid precipitation, water wash and alcohol several times, dry, take out, grind with a mortar until powder reserve, get SNO samples.

(3)Preparing two-dimensional tungsten oxide-tin niobate nanosheet composite semiconductor material: adding deionized water to tungsten oxide nanosheet and tin niobate nanosheet, dispersing uniformly by ultrasonic wave, configuring tungsten oxide nanosheet suspension and tin niobate nanosheet suspension respectively, mixing the two suspensions, transferring the obtained mixture to the reactor after stirring, putting it into the oven for hydrothermal reaction; However, after cooling to room temperature, yellow solid precipitation is centrifuged, washed and alcohol washed several times, dried, removed, and grinded in a mortar to powder reserve to obtain two-dimensional tungsten oxide-tin niobate nanosheet composite semiconductor material.

The chemical and physical properties of the two-dimensional tungsten oxide-tin niobate nanosheet composite semiconductor materials are stable, the raw materials are cheap, easy to obtain, non-toxic, and the preparation process is simple, and the photocatalytic activity of the products is good.
