In recent years, semiconductor photocatalysis has become one of the research hotspots in the field of environment. A large number of studies have shown that almost all organic pollutants can be effectively photocatalytically degraded, decolorized and mineralized into inorganic small molecular substances, thereby eliminating environmental pollution and hazards.
Bismuth tungstate is a new type of semiconductor photocatalytic material with visible light responsiveness. Although Bismuth tungstate has a certain response in the visible light range, its photocatalytic activity is low due to its weak visible light absorption ability, which limits its application in the field of photocatalysis.
Some scholars try to make tin dioxide-bismuth tungstate composite photocatalyst by compounding tin dioxide and bismuth tungstate. The photocatalytic activity of the composite photocatalyst is much higher than that of pure bismuth tungstate, which solves the problem of poor photocatalytic effect of the existing photocatalyst and low utilization of sunlight. Specifically follow the following steps:
Step 1: Dissolve a certain amount of bismuth nitrate pentahydrate in 65% nitric acid solution, get solution A, dissolve a certain amount of ammonium tungstate in 5 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution, get solution B.
Step 2: Mix a certain amount of solution A and solution B obtained in step 1 to get solution C evenly. Solution D is prepared by dissolving tin chloride pentahydrate in water at molar concentration of 0.01-0.1 mol/L.
Step 3: A certain amount of D solution and C solution obtained in step 2 are mixed evenly to obtain solution E. Solution E is transferred to hydrothermal reactor and placed in microwave reactor. After microwave heating to 150-250 ℃ microwave hydrothermal treatment for 0.5-3 h, the product is naturally cooled to room temperature. The product is centrifuged and separated. Deionized water is washed three times, and dried at 80 ℃ for 12 h. Tin dioxide-tungsten oxide is obtained. Bismuth acid composite photocatalyst powder.
Tin dioxide was compounded with bismuth tungstate, and two kinds of band structure semiconductor materials, tin dioxide and bismuth tungstate, were used to improve the photocatalytic activity of the photocatalyst.
