Cesium Tungstate Low Cost Preparation

Cesium tungstate (Cs2WO4) is a new material discovered in recent years. At present, some famous coating companies in Japan, Germany, the United States and other countries are vigorously developing transparent heat insulation coatings of cesium tungstate.

Cesium tungstate nano powder is an inorganic nano powder with the best absorption ability in near infrared region. It not only has very strong absorption characteristics in near infrared region (wavelength is 800-1100 nm), but also has strong transmission characteristics in visible region (wavelength is 380-780 nm), and also has strong shielding properties in ultraviolet region (wavelength is 200-380 nm). Because nano-caesium tungstate powder has outstanding near infrared absorption and visible light transmission characteristics, it has broad application prospects in building glass insulation, automobile film, sunshade insulation, plastic greenhouse greenhouse and other industries.

Recently, some scholars have published an innovative paper on the preparation of nanometer cesium tungstate powder, aiming at solving the problems of poor dispersion, poor thermal insulation and low visible light transmittance of the products prepared by the existing preparation methods. The main processes are as follows:

1)Take 1.47g sodium tungstate and 0.977 cesium carbonate, add 3 mol/L citric acid solution and methanol reagent, stir evenly, react at 200 ℃ for 3 hours, and get tungsten and cesium mixed solution.

2)The mixture of tungsten and cesium is added to 1.98g urea, and the pH value of the reaction solution is adjusted to 4. The mixture is stirred until the urea is completely dissolved to form a transparent solution.

3)After stirring the above solution to uniformity, wash it with argon for 10 minutes, then insert the ultrasonic tube at 70 ℃ and under argon protection, and radiate it for 4 hours at 20.81 kHz to obtain colloidal precipitate.

4)The colloidal precipitate is aged for 5 hours, filtered under vacuum, washed twice with distilled water, then washed twice with 10% ethanol solution until the filtrate is neutral, and finally washed twice with absolute ethanol. The precursor is dried at 80 ℃ for several hours before grinding into powder, which is placed in a muffle furnace and kept at 600 ℃ for 3 hours, and then cooled with the furnace, the target product can be obtained. Cesium tungstate nanoparticles.

The results show that the obtained nano-caesium tungstate powder has small particle size, uniform dispersion, less aggregation, high purity, simple synthesis process, high efficiency, easy availability of raw materials, good reproducibility, and is conducive to industrialization.
