The Simple Separation of the Complex Wolframite and Scheelite Symbiotic Ore

The ratio of scheelite and wolframite is 1: 9~9: 1 in the co-occurrence ore. separation of scheelite from wolframite from complex polymetallic ores has always been a difficult task for mineral processing.
In view of this problem, some scholars have proposed a beneficiation method with good separation effect, high recovery, simple operation and low reagent cost for scheelite. The method is made up of the following steps in turn:

(1) Scheelite coarse selection: one time coarse selection: 0~1200g /T sodium hydroxide, 0~2000g/ T sodium carbonate, 200~4200g /ton of sodium carbonate and 45~240g/T of sulphate oleic acid soap for 10~15 minutes. 2~3 times selection: a selection of sodium hydroxide 0~300g/T, and water glass 80~300g/T, stirring 25 minutes, no medicament. 3. 2~3 scavenging: a total of sulphate oleic acid soap 35~160g/T, stirring for 5~10 minutes, and the coarse ore of scheelite and the tailings of scheelite were obtained.

(2) Scheelite temperature selection: one time coarse selection: heating the scheelite concentrate to 90°C, adding water glass 200~600g/T, sodium hydroxide 0~100 g/T, sodium sulfide 0~500g/T and 0~30g of sulphate oleic acid soap for 0.5 to 2 hours. 2. 1~3 times selection: no adding agents, stirring 2~5 minutes. 1~3 cleaning: stir for 5~10 minutes after adding the agent, the scheelite concentrate and scheelite heated tailings were obtained.

(3) Magnetic separation: combined with scheelite coarse tailings and wolframite tailings, the magnetic field strength of 0.48 to 0.90 Tesla and the magnetic field strength of 0.60 to 1 Tesla, with 1 coarse or 1 coarse and 1 scavenging, were selected to obtain the tungsten magnetic concentrates and the tungsten magnetite tailings.

(4) Wolframite floatation: (1) 1 coarse selection: 0~30g/T sodium carbonate, 300~700g/T water glass, 150~250g/T of aluminum sulfate, 60~250g/T of lead nitrate, 80~250g/T of benzohydroxamic acid, 10~25g /T of sulphate oleic acid soap and 0~15g/T of kerosene for 10~18 minutes. 5 times selection: Adding water glass 200~400g/T, aluminum sulfate 90~225g/T, sodium fluorosilicate 14~25g/T, benzohydroxamic acid 3~8 g/T and sulphate oleic acid soap 1~3g/T, stirring for 10~15 minutes, and 2~3 cleaning: altogether adding 47~185g/T of benzohydroxamic acid and 7~18g/T sulfated oleic acid soap, stirring 10~15 minutes. Wolframite are used for flotation of tailings.

According to the difference in the floatability of the wolframite symbiotic ore, the process is selected properly, the process is simple, the recovery rate of tungsten is high, the cost of the medicine is low, the ore dressing agent is no pollution to the environment, the tailings water can reach the discharge requirement. After the test, after the above process, the wolframite containing 0.15 to 2.0%WO3 and 1 to 9~9: 1 of wolframite is given, which contains 66 ~ 75.00%WO3 of scheelite concentrate and 28.88 ~ 65.00%WO3 of wolframite concentrate, the recovery rate of total tungsten is 72.33 to 89%.
