Ore Dressing Method of Tungsten Tin Ore

Tungsten tin ore is a brittle mineral. It is easily worn over powder during the process of mineral processing. It brings a lot of inconvenience to the process of mineral processing. There’s a tungsten tin ore dressing method, which is mainly aimed at the low grade of the main metal and the unevenness of the granularity of the minerals. The coarse and fine branch separation is used to improve the grade and recovery of the concentrate, so as to prevent the grinding of powder and the recovery of tungsten and Tin Minerals.

The characteristics of tungsten tin ore require that the content of Sn in mineral materials is 0.083 to 0.32% and the content of WO3 is 0.035 ~ 0.46%. Phase analysis shows that tin is in the form of cassiterite, tungsten is mainly wolframite and contains a small amount of scheelite.

The advantages of the ore dressing method of the tungsten tin ore are:

1.Using the jig branch separation technology, the material is divided into two branches: one is the coarse grained heavy mineral (+0.074mm), the single body tin tungsten mineral and the rich continuous body} with a larger proportion (> 4g/cm3). The two is the fine grain aggregate {the fine grain (-0.074mm) of the single body tin tungsten mineral and the small proportion (< 4g/cm3) of the poor serial body} with the smaller specific gravity (< 4g/cm3). Then the two minerals are selected separately to achieve the principle of rough collection and early harvest of the separated minerals. The separate minerals are treated separately to ensure the recovery rate of tungsten and tin.

2.It is able to effectively recover tungsten tungsten Tin Minerals with low grade of main metal, unevenness of mineral dissemination, uneven grain size and close mineral association.

3.The number of equipment in production and use is few, and the cost of production is low.
