Styrene Catalytic Defects Tungsten Oxide

The composite catalyst styrene can catalyze the defective tungsten oxide, in which the mass proportion of Pd element is 3%. Internal standard method can be used to test the percentage of the product, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene as an internal standard, the correction factor of 0.8451.
Styrene catalytic defects of tungsten oxide process is as follows: The styrene and trimethylbenzene was added to 10mL ethanol conical flask, mix well and the conical flask placed on a magnetic stirrer and through hydrogen. After stirring for 10 min, a styrene catalyst was added to the reaction system to start timing, and the reaction was carried out at room temperature. At regular intervals from the Erlenmeyer flask to take 150μL samples, filtered catalyst after gas chromatography sample analysis. Gas chromatograph specifications for the FID detector, the column is 30 m × 0.32 mm × 0.25μm. In the catalyst cycle test, the reaction solution after the completion of each reaction was separated by centrifugation from the reaction solution, and the resulting solid was washed with distilled water several times and directly used for the next catalytic cycle.
When a small amount of styrene catalyst was added to the above reaction system, the absorption peak intensity of p-nitrophenol at 400 nm gradually decreased. At 298 nm, there was a gradually increasing peak. This peak corresponds to the peak of p-aminophenol. The above experimental results show that p-nitrophenol has been reduced to generate p-aminophenol. After 80s reaction, the color of the solution changed from yellow to colorless. The UV-Vis spectra of the reaction showed that the reaction was completed after 80s and the p-nitrophenol was completely reduced to form p-aminophenol.
