Ultrafine tungsten carbide powder is grain size < 1um.

Cast tungsten carbide: particle size should be in line with: powder weight percentage for upper size should be no more than 5%.

Tungsten carbide granlue used to be welded onto the surface of the tools or work parts to form a hardened wear-resistant layer in order to provide protection against  abrasive wear and therefore increase the service life of the tools and work parts.

Tungsten carbide sintering process can be divided into four basic stages:

1. Removal of forming agent and pre-burning stage

2. Solid phase sintering stage

3. Liquid phase sintering stage

4. Cooling stage
