For industrial production data, steel prices slightly decreased, tungsten concentrate prices slightly increased, rare earth prices generally saw a slight increase, cement prices slightly decreased, and sand and gravel prices overall slightly decreased.
Jiangxi Tungsten Concentrate Price:
In April 2025, the average selling price of tungsten concentrate in Ganzhou was 143,000 yuan/ton, increased by 2.14% month-on-month and increased by 10.85% year-on-year.
According to CTIA GROUP LTD, the Chinese tungsten market in April 2025 showed an overall upward trend, with rising tungsten ore prices effectively transmitting to intermediate smelting products, subsequently driving a passive collective price increase in downstream cemented carbide products. The average price of 65% black tungsten concentrate was 145,600 yuan/ton, increased by 3.34% month-on-month and increased by 9.23% year-on-year, with the end-of-month price increased by 6.34% compared to the beginning of the month. The average price of 65% white tungsten concentrate was 144,600 yuan/ton, increased by 3.36% month-on-month and increased by 9.30% year-on-year, with the end-of-month price increased by 6.38% from the beginning of the month.
Jiangxi Rare Earth Prices:
In April 2025, the average selling prices in Ganzhou for high-yttrium oxide (rare earth) and medium-yttrium europium oxide (rare earth) were 210,000 yuan/ton and 186,000 yuan/ton, respectively, with a month-on-month increase of 2.44% for the former, no change for the latter, and year-on-year changes of no change and an increase of 4.49%, respectively.
According to CTIA GROUP LTD, in April 2025, most rare earth product prices in China decreased month-on-month but increased year-on-year. The average price of praseodymium oxide was 450,318 yuan/ton, decreased by 3.02% month-on-month, increased by 15.68% year-on-year; neodymium oxide was 444,364 yuan/ton, decreased by 3.29% month-on-month, increased by 14.34% year-on-year; praseodymium-neodymium oxide was 425,909 yuan/ton, decreased by 4.07% month-on-month, increased by 11.07% year-on-year; praseodymium-neodymium metal was 524,318 yuan/ton, decreased by 3.90% month-on-month, increased by 9.91% year-on-year; terbium oxide was 6,895 yuan/kg, increased by 4.95% month-on-month, increased by 11.95% year-on-year; dysprosium oxide was 1,659,545 yuan/ton, decreased by 2.49% month-on-month, decreased by 16.12% year-on-year; and dysprosium-iron alloy was 1,624,091 yuan/ton, decreased by 1.99% month-on-month, decreased by 16.41% year-on-year.
