China Tungsten Price Keeps Firm in the Middle of April, 2021

China tungsten price continues to keep firm on April 19, 2021 with the support from raw material suppliers’ strong rised mentality, despite downstream buyers remain low buying appetite. 

There are differences towards the outlook. Most mining companies thought the tungsten market is expected to be strong under China’s environmental checks while some traders consider profit-taking, waiting for new guidance from the market. At present, tungsten concentrate price stands at about $15,396.8/t. 

Smelting factories have strong willingness to raise their offers as raw material prices are high, but the demand side is weak and transactions are limited. Ammonium paratungstate (APT) price hovers around $263.7/mtu. The tungsten powder price is about $35.6/kg now and the market keeps quiet.
