China Tungsten Concentrate Price Rises in Early April Despite of Lukewarm Demand

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The ammonium paratungstate (APT) and tungsten powder prices edged higher on April 8, 2021 boosted by the rise in new offers for the first half of this month. But due to a lukewarm demand, market trading seems quiet. 

In the tungsten concentrate market, China’s environmental checks plus with strong rised mentality of enterprises, low-price resources reduce and suppliers are will to increase their offers. Now high-grade tungsten concentrate price is about $15,238.1/ton. 

In the APT market, the previous price decline seems beneficial to the consumption of low-price goods. As most large Intermediate companies are cautious, offers for APT hover around $258.3/mtu. 

In the tungsten powder market, new increased orders are still limited by low buying appetite of end users. The whole market is quiet and powder price stabilizes at $34.9/kg.
