China APT Export Market Remained Quiet on Weak Overseas Demand

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China ammonium paratungstate (APT) export market remained quiet this week, with European consumers becoming increasingly cautious about restocking the raw material amid an uptick in Covid-19 infections across the region, while demand from Japanese buyers was also largely muted.

In Chinese market, most sellers are reluctant to sell and have strong rised mentality with little pressure from capital and inventory sides. Low-price resources are hard to be purchased and offers keep firm. However, purchasers still are not active in stocking as downstream can not accept high-price raw materials and also most of them now take a watchful stance.

In terms of news, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) recently released its latest global economic outlook report, stating that China is the only country that has achieved positive economic growth this year. By the end of next year, the global economy may return to the level before the outbreak of the Covid-19, and China is expected to contribute one-third of global economic growth next year.
