China Lanthanum Oxide Price - October 17, 2019

Rare earth market quotation in China: the prices of terbium oxide and neodymium oxide declined slightly while lanthanum oxide price remained stable in the middle of October. In the light rare earth market, the prices of products have fallen, affected by the weak market demand of the permanent magnet motor manufacturing industry. 

Some smelting and separating manufacturers have increased their low-priced shipments, but the environmental protection inspectors have not reduced their production costs. The impact of the quotation of traders is not high. In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the price decline of mainstream products was more serious. In the early stage, the launch of the Myanmar import has increased the spot supply of domestic medium and heavy rare earth products. In the context of low enthusiasm in stocking of end users, the activity of on-market transactions is not high, and the purchases between businesses are mainly based on rigid demand.
