Terbium Oxide Prices - October 11, 2019

Rare earth market quotation in China: the latest prices of terbium oxide, dysprosium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal continued to edge lower in the week began on Tuesday October 8, 2019 because of thin market trading and wait-and-see atmosphere. 

In the light rare earth market, the prices of mainstream products have been stagnant but stable. During the resumption of production after the National Day, the stabilized listed prices from Northern Rare Earth for this month supports market confidence. In the heavy rare earth market, the prices of dysprosium and terbium products are in the relatively low level. Under the condition that there is no obvious positive signal on the fundamentals, the terminal demand is weak and difficult to change. However, due to cost support, there is little room for market price reduction.
