China molybdenum prices were stable with good momentum in the week to Friday February 15. After the holiday of Spring Festival, steel mills issued buy tenders for ferro molybdenum and thus prices and quantity of this product tended to increase.

Offer levels for molybdenum concentrate climbed slightly due to the tightening availability of spot goods. Sellers were reluctant to sell while downstream buyers became active in inquiry. With the approaching of the Lantern Festival, more buyers and sellers mainly took a watchful stance.
