Molybdenum Powder Price - Dec. 06, 2018

Prices of molybdenum oxide, ferromolybdenum and molybdenum concentrate dropped slightly in the midweek in the Chinese market. Recently, steel mills have been slowed down in tenders, further weakening market confidence. 

Affected by pressure of weak demand and capital shortage at the end of this year, manufacturers lower their offer levels to seek more sales, as a result, raw material market becomes weak. But the environmental protection also offers supports for raw material prices at the bottom. Sellers will not adjust their prices sharply. Ferromolybdenum manufacturers face risks of upside down and trading would reply on rigid demand.
