Tungsten Prices in China Stabilize on Weak Demand

China tungsten prices remain weak adjustment owing to the weakness in both demand and funds sides, reduced production in downstream factories and low spot activity. 

The tight supply credited to another round of environmental inspections in China offers supports for market prices. But sales and buying press tungsten market, and offers for mainstream tungsten products mainly range around guide prices released at the beginning of this month. The actual transaction prices are in a stalemate. 

A listing tungsten enterprise in Guangdong released its offers for products: wolframite concentrate was quoted at $15,538.5/t, down $184.6/t; scheelite concentrate was quoted at $15,384.6/t, down $184.6/t; APT was quoted at $282.5/mtu, down $1.7/mtu.
