Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest price of molybdenum powder declined slightly while molybdenum bar and ferro molybdenum maintained stability. The price movements are mainly owing to poor performance in terminal market.

Actual transactions for high-price molybdenum powder products are very little because of weak demand in molybdenum sheet, molybdenum bar and molybdenum wire markets, resulting deep processing enterprises’ low willingness in stocking up molybdenum powder. At the same time, the rise in transaction prices still needs time considering the difficult improvement in terminal demand in the short term.
