In Chinese molybdenum market, the quotation from mines maintain in a high level, first grade tungsten concentrates have prices but no sales, and the trading for regular grade molybdenum concentrates reduces. With the approaching of Chinese Spring Festival, many international carriers are gradually stopping providing services, so foreign raw materials cannot be imported into the Chinese market now, which will stabilize molybdenum price. 

Ammonium molybdate is now hard to be purchased and the transaction prices are rising with the constantly consuming low-cost stocks. It was learned that the first grade ammonium heptamolybdate was concluded in RMB 113,000-115,000/t, high-purity trioxide molybdenum powder was concluded in RMB 130,000-133,000/t, with decreased trading volumes. The molybdenum market in China tends to be quiet.
