Molybdenum market in China shows a little stalemate amid the latest price of molybdenum concentrate, molybdenum powder and molybdenum bar keeps stable. If miners take the initiative to reduce price for more shipments, downstream enterprise may further force the price down. Under the both tight supply of raw material at home and abroad, market price is likely to maintain the current trend.

The price and quantity in steel biddings fail to meet market expectations, which may promote the delivery of traders. Ferromolybdenum manufacturers are reluctant to sell owing to the high production cost, and thus ferro molybdenum price is likely to rise slightly. With the approaching of Chinese Spring Festival, molybdenum products quotations will not decline, supported by the high production cost.
