Dysprosium Oxide Price - November 1, 2021

China’s domestic rare earth market generally showed a trend of rise in the second half of October. Under the background of the sharp increase last month, the wait-and-see sentiment of downstream magnetic materials companies has increased significantly, so the growth of orders has been slow. 

In order to make the market run well, some suppliers' quotations have been rationally adjusted. Currently, the prices of praseodymium and dysprosium oxide are about RMB 725,000/ton and RMB 2,880,000/ton respectively.

In the news: Minmetals Rare Earth achieved total operating income of 2 billion in the first three quarters of 2021, a year-on-year increase of 107.7%; realized net profit attributable to the parent of 200 million, a year-on-year increase of 47%; earnings per share was 0.2 yuan; period expense ratio increased by 1.9% , Operating costs rose by 104.6%, and operating cash flow dropped by 466.6%. Among them, the operating cost in the third quarter of 2021 was 1.67 billion, a year-on-year increase of 104.6%, which was lower than the growth rate of operating income of 107.7%, leading to a 1.3% increase in gross profit margin.
